The TRS workers, who gathered outside Enumamula market where the counting took place, started celebrating as soon as the results were being announced. The TRS workers, who gathered outside Enumamula market where the counting took place, started celebrating as soon as the results were being announced. Later, the TRS cadre splashed in pink and carrying party flags took out rallies celebrating their victory.
Many of the candidates of ruling as well as opposition parties and independents went to their respective wards and thanked the voters for electing them. Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhaskar administered an oath with the winners on working for public and to strengthen the party at Telangana Martyrs Memorial in Hanamkonda.
They offered tributes to the Martyrs Memorial and later went in a rally garlanding and offering tributes to Kaloji statue, BR Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule and Prof. B Janardhan Rao. At TRS urban party performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking on the occasion the MLA Vinay Bhasker and Telangana Jagruthi leader D Vijay Bhasker who won in 50th division have said that victory in the election was as gift offered by public to the CM.It might be noted that G Aarshitha Reddy of TRS, a former employee of Google, has won the election in 24th division whileSobiya Sabahat of TRS, who is continuing her M Tech at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Sciences Warangal (KITSW) has won in 31st division.
‘We thank the voters for trusting us though we are new to electoral politics and electing us. We will strive to do our best for the welfare of the people and devel opment of our divisions’ they said after getting elected. They also thanked the party chief K Chandrashekar Rao for giving them the chance to contest.
