Writ plea against govt dismissed

Acting Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale of the High court at Hyderabad on Friday dismissed a writ plea challenging the decision of the government seeking to merge six villages with the Siddipet municipality. The order came in the wake of hitherto attempts by the government to effect the merger.

Earlier the court had interdicted the process for not following the procedure laid down by law and pointed out to technical defects in effecting the merger. The government then issued necessary orders. The judge allowed the merger as being in accordance with law and dismissed the writ petition.
