Ambassador of United Arab Emirates in India Dr Ahemed Albanna on Wednesday, called on Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister at his residence in Ministers Quarters. In his deliberations, Ambassador of UAE exuded that the City of Hyderabad and Telangana state were on high priority for his government both for bilateral trade and opening of Consulate cum Visa processing centre. 

Hyderabad: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates in India Dr Ahemed Albanna on Wednesday, called on Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister at his residence in Ministers Quarters. In his deliberations, Ambassador of UAE exuded that the City of Hyderabad and Telangana state were on high priority for his government both for bilateral trade and opening of Consulate cum Visa processing centre.

He sought support of the Deputy Chief Minister to facilitate in identification of suitable land for construction of the same in Hyderabad, so that necessary developments can be initiated immediately. Speaking to the media, he said that the government of UAE considers Telangana state, especially Hyderabad city as focal economic point in India and for bilateral trade.

While assuring his full support, Deputy Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of Telangana Government in facilitating establishment of Consulate in City. As large number of work force in UAE belongs to Telangana, he felt this as one of the long drawn demands of people of the state.

He briefed about the recently presented budget of the state to the dignitary. While briefing him about development works that are to be initiated in the coming years, the Deputy Chief Minister also explained about investment opportunities for UAE in Telangana.
