Hyderabad: Following the directives of the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have intensified the enforcement drives against helmet-less drives.
The traffic police informed that about 6,000 motorists were booked under relevant sections of Motor Vehicles Act for not wearing head gears. A total of 2,16.017 cases have been booked against the motorists travelling without helmet since January 2016.
