KTR for Mauritius next month

Hyderabad: Close on the heels of unveiling new IT Policy in April first week, KT Rama Rao, Telangana Information Technology Minister will go on a foreign expedition to Mauritius and London on April 13, 14 and 18 respectively. The Minister received invitations from these countries to ink deal with them to attract investments in IT and industries.

According to the sources, KTR, along with a team of officials, will attend a two-day AYUSH convention in Mauritius. He is expected to finalise a deal with the Mauritius government to promote Ayurveda, Homeo, Naturopathy and Unani education practices in Mauritius for Indian System of Medicine.

The State government will help introduce AYUSH courses in colleges and hospitals there. Later, the IT Minister will pay a visit to London and other cities of the United Kingdom on April 18 and hold meetings with industry bigwigs and noted companies for attracting investments.

By projecting the new IT Policy and industrial policy, the Minister will woo the top businessmen and industrialists of London to invest in Hyderabad and Telangana which is favourite destination for IT, industries, pharmaceutical and other sectors.
