D K Aruna to lead Chalo Hyderabad
A massive Chalo Hyderabad programme is being planned by Congress legislator D K Aruna in support of the demand to carve out a new district Gadwal from the present Mahbubnagar in Telangana on Tuesday. The Gadwal Congress MLA, who is spearheading the movement for the new district.
Hyderabad: A massive Chalo Hyderabad programme is being planned by Congress legislator D K Aruna in support of the demand to carve out a new district Gadwal from the present Mahbubnagar in Telangana on Tuesday. The Gadwal Congress MLA, who is spearheading the movement for the new district, recalled the assurance by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who was in favour more districts in the State for better administrative convenience.
She said Gadwal was centrally located for at least four Assembly constituencies and well-connected by rail and road. She said due to the long distance from the district headquarters, people from Alampur, Gadwal, Makthal and Narayanpet constituencies were going to Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and Raichur in Karnataka to meet their day-to-day health and educational needs. Thousands of people under the aegis of Gadwal Zilla Sadhana Samiti would to arrive in the city on Tuesday in support of the new district.
