Prepare estimations on crop losses
District Deputy Statistical Officer Dattatri said that the statistical officers should correctly estimate the losses incurred by the farmers on crops due to drought and other natural calamities.
Birkur (Nizamabad): District Deputy Statistical Officer Dattatri said that the statistical officers should correctly estimate the losses incurred by the farmers on crops due to drought and other natural calamities. Participating in a one-day training camp for the officials of Revenue, Agriculture and Finance Departments here on Tuesday, he said that Rabi crops have withered away due to the gales in the district and advised the statisticians to go the field and make the estimations on losses.
The training session was held for the officials as part of the implementation of the National Agricultural Crop Insurance Scheme. In-charge Assistant Statistical Officer Madhukar, Deputy Tahsildar Vara Prasad, Mandal Revenue Inspector Rajesh and others were present.
