China infra firm to invest 10,000 cr in Telangana State

Noted Chinese construction company – Gezhouba has in principle agreed to invest Rs 10,000 crore in irrigation projects in Telangana. The delegation led by Chief Representative of the company, Huang Wanlin held talks with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday at camp office. 

Hyderabad: Noted Chinese construction company – Gezhouba has in principle agreed to invest Rs 10,000 crore in irrigation projects in Telangana. The delegation led by Chief Representative of the company, Huang Wanlin held talks with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday at camp office.

The Chief Minister invited the company to take part in the tenders invited for Kaleshwaram, Tupakulagudem and Sitarama projects in the State. The Chief Minister explained the delegation about lift irrigation projects taken up by the government in the optimum utilisation of funds.

He also agreed to send a group of engineers to study the technology adopted in construction projects in China. The delegation explained about company’s expertise in constructing projects in China. The officials also informed the Chief Minister that the company’s key role in construction of globally popular Three Gorges dam on Yangtze River.
