The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Global President Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala on behalf of TITA Governing Council announced Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) principal Dr. Aliseri Goverdhan as Chairman for TITA Faculty Chapter on Wednesday. 

The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Global President Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala on behalf of TITA Governing Council announced Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) principal Dr. Aliseri Goverdhan as Chairman for TITA Faculty Chapter on Wednesday.

Dr. Goverdhan born in Choutuppal, Nalgonda District, has more than 21years of experience in academic and administrative positions in JNTU. He worked as a Director for School of Information Technology (SIT) Hyderabad and currently working as a Principal of JNTU Hyderabad. Dr. Goverdhan to server as the chairman for TITA Faculty Chapter till 2018.

Congratulating Dr. Goverdhan, TITA Global President Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala expressed the hope that TITA connect with the faculty members keep students informed about new statistics and best practices in the IT industry.

Dr. Goverdhan urged faculty members & students of engineering colleges to join the professional association like TITA. "Joining a professional association is a win-win situation for students because while they are networking with professionals, they are being praised for taking the initiative to learn more about their field of interest. Members of TITA are student-friendly and want to mentor incoming workers as they transition to the corporate world. TITA often have listservs where employees from companies looking to hire post open jobs or internships.

Students may know what they want to do after graduation, but actually finding a job can be difficult. These listservs are a starting point and students can be confident that these are credible jobs. TITA often distribute an newsletter TITA BYTE, that keeps students informed about new statistics and best practices in the field. Webinars can be offered on hot topics as well. A section of TITA is devoted to updating members about changes in IT industry. They also advocate for the profession and notify members about how to prepare for any change." said Dr. Goverdhan.
