Hyderabad: The first constable recruitment written test in Telangana State will be held on April 24. The officials completed the arrangements for the written test.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, DGP Anurag Sharma said that 5,36,663 candidates would be appearing for the examination across the State. Foolproof security was arranged at the examination centres. In the 10 districts, 2,425 bio-metric equipments will be used in 1,132 examination centres.

Anurag Sharma suggested to the candidates to check their centres much before the examination. For the required information, the candidates have to use ‘find me’ mobile application and google. The candidates have to download the App in their cell phones to know the required information.

He said the candidates have to send their registered phone number or hall ticket number to 9222273310 to avail examination centre address and its map. He said the candidates have to search in google.com with the pin code number before they start for the examination to find correct location and reach the centre on time.

Police Recruitment Board Chairman Poornachandra Rao made it clear that they would allow the candidates if they come one minute late. He said the examination would be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on Sunday. On April 25, PTO SI written examination would be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm in Hyderabad in three centres.

The examination centre officials would take the finger prints and photos through biometric system. He said these details will be collected from the candidates an hour before the examination commences. These evidences will be used for the physical tests and final examination, he added.
