A two judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice P Naveen Rao on Tuesday granted liberty to the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi to withdraw its present writ petition and filed a fresh application before the DGP of AP seeking permission to hold Viswaruapa Chaitanaya Yatra by MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga. 

A two judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice P Naveen Rao on Tuesday granted liberty to the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi to withdraw its present writ petition and filed a fresh application before the DGP of AP seeking permission to hold Viswaruapa Chaitanaya Yatra by MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga.

The bench was dealing with writ appeals filed by the petitioner questioning an order of single judge who had refused to interdict the order of the police in not granting permission.

The counsel for the MRPS submitted that his clients earlier submitted application to police seeking permission to take out the Yatra in the last week of April and in view of expiry proposed dates there was no cause of action survived in the writ appeals..
