Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has successfully completed the Kukatpally nala diversion works on Saturday.
Water Board in collaboration with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) under Hussain Sagar Lake Improvement Project (HCIP) initiated the nala diversion project at the cost of Rs 58 crore in four different packages.
With the completion of this ring pipeline, 570 million litres a day (MLD) of hazardous waste water can be diverted from flowing into the lake.
