Vidwat Sabha to be held today
A ‘Vidwath Sabha’ is scheduled to be held in Warangal on Sunday under the aegis of Telangana Vidwat Parishat, informed Pampa Kshetra pontiff Govindananda Saraswathi.

Speaking to press persons at Sri Rajarajeshwara Temple here on Saturday, he said nearly 40 Vedic pundits would recite the four Vedas.
The sabha is being held to promote and protect Vedic traditions for the benefit of future generations. The sabha gained importance as it is being held in Warangal, the birth place of Vidyaranya, who wrote commentary on four Vedas and strived for protection of Vedic culture and traditions centuries ago, he added.
Telangana Archaka Samakhya president G Upendra Sharma and its district honorary president P Vishwanatha Rao said that a ‘Brahmana Sadassu’ would also be held at Sri Rajarajeshwara Temple on Sunday.
