In the wake of the drought conditions prevailing in the Telangana state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for a meeting and the latter would meet PM Modi on May 10.
The Prime Minister has decided to meet the Chief Ministers of states affected by drought and has already met Chief Ministers Akhilesh Yadav, Siddharamaiah and Devendra Fadnavis regarding the issue on Saturday. All the Ministers had sought thousands of crores of rupees for drought relief in their states.
While KCR will be leaving for Delhi on Monday, he plans on to review of the drought conditions prevailing in the state and also take up other issues pending with Centre.
