Palair by-polls campaign comes to an end

The Palair by-election campaign has come to an end on Saturday ahead of the polls that are scheduled to take place on Monday - May 16th.

TDP and YSRCP have not fielded their own candidates for the elections, instead have extended support for Sucharita Reddy of the Congress who is contesting against ruling TRS candidate, Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao.

Due to the untimely demise of the Public Accounts Committee Chairman Ramreddy Venkatreddy, the by-election is taking place and central forces have been deployed in strength in the constituency to prevent untoward incidents.
