He also inaugurated the IVR Grievances Redressal System which plays a key role in solving the people’s problems in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said they would totally eradicate greedy middlemen’s role and improve transparency. He also said the government would take every possible measure to rid all departments of corruption by introducing online system.

Stating that DPMS and IVR Grievances Redressal System were introduced as part of 100-day programme in the HMDA, Rama Rao said there would be no scope for corruption and irregularities in the government departments and if the applicants felt injustice was done to them in the HMDA, they would be free to make an appeal and would get satisfactory reply in 30 days.

Stating that obtaining permission from the HMDA for building constructions was very difficult during the previous regime, Rama Rao said obtaining permissions for layouts and building construction was made easy now.

“We are going to the doorsteps of people by introducing online system and the same would be extended to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other corporations by next month and funds to the gram panchayats would be made through online system,” he added.

Excise Minister Padma Rao, HMDA Commissioner Chiranjeevulu, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy and others were present at the inauguration ceremony.
