Hyderabad: While thanking the Chief Minister and the State government for taking up ensuing Krishna Pushkaralu in Mahbubnagar district, State Planning Board Vice-Chairman S Niranjan Reddy urged Chandrasekhar Rao to consider provision of about 400 acres of farmers’ land for parking facilities and other amenities for which clearance must be given for payment of money as crop compensation that would be decided.

In a letter to the Chief Minister on Thursday, Niranjan Reddy said the Electricity Department, in anticipation of money being released and paid to them, might be directed to execute all works as required to save precious time. “It is observed that there is a need to have service accesses on NH-44 and necessary sanctions for execution of works may be given in anticipation of the required permission by the NH authorities.”

It is also noted in the reviews held by the Minister for Endowments and Ministers from Mahbubnagar and Engineering Heads of concerned departments, and the Superintendent of Police, police personnel are paid only TA and DA. However, for other requirements to be met by the police, funds have to be earmarked and released.
