6 Telangana students get top ranks in AP Eamcet
Six students of Telangana State were among the top 10 in Eamcet results released in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
​Vijayawada: Six students of Telangana State were among the top 10 in Eamcet results released in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
Six girls and four boys got top 10 ranks in Eamcet results. While Machani Hemalata got first rank by scoring 156 marks in the medical stream, six others, Yarla Satwik Reddy, who scored 155 marks is from Ranga Reddy district, Y Gnanapriya (153), Vikram Khan (152) Sahiti (152) Jalabhadra Grism (150) and Shivkumar (150) belonged to Hyderabad city.
The Andhra Pradesh Eamcet medical and agriculture results were not declared earlier due to the confusion over the conduct of NEET entrance.
Following the Union Cabinet’s nod on Friday to issue an ordinance saying that all States can conduct their respective entrance tests for medical stream this year and that NEET will be enforced from 2017, the path was cleared for the announcement of AP Eamcet results. The Eamcet for medical and agriculture stream was held on April 29.
