The recent decision by the police to dosa cart vendors to shut shop before midnight has come as a bolt from the blue. Ram of Ram ki Bandi says ‘just because of a few incidents of fights all of us have to suffer. We are also doing service in a way as we cater to thousands of employees at midnight.”

The police have been making the rounds and have also made a few dosa carts to close shop in the city. According to sources, the police have however not gone full throttle but plan to keep a tab on the dosa carts. A group of youngsters who were at Jubilee Hills were told leave as soon as they had food. It is learnt that fights trigger when people are in groups.
