Mother, husband killed Jhansi
The Nakrekal police solved the mystery of the suicide case of B Tech student Jhansi of Nomula. CI Venkateswar Rao stated that Jhansi’s mother Padma and husband Vijayender Reddy forced her to consume pesticides as she had rejected their proposal to earn money through prostitution.
Nalgonda: The Nakrekal police solved the mystery of the suicide case of B Tech student Jhansi of Nomula. CI Venkateswar Rao stated that Jhansi’s mother Padma and husband Vijayender Reddy forced her to consume pesticides as she had rejected their proposal to earn money through prostitution.
Both Padma and Vijayender Reddy reported the death as a suicide case and cremated the body at Deepakunta. The police started investigation after receiving a letter from Jhansi stating that her mother and husband have an illicit affair and both were forcing her into prostitution.
The CI said she hadn’t mentioned about committing suicide anywhere in her letter. Police exhumed Jhansi’s body and the remains to forensic lab at Hyderabad for testing. The police took Padma and Vijayender Reddy into the custody and questioning them.
