Telangana MP, MLA call on Sarada Peetham seer
Newly elected Rajya Sabha MP from Telangana Captain Lakshmikantha Rao and his son and MLA Satish Babu, along with family members, visited Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham at China Mushidiwada on Thursday.
Visakhapatnam: Newly elected Rajya Sabha MP from Telangana Captain Lakshmikantha Rao and his son and MLA Satish Babu, along with family members, visited Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham at China Mushidiwada on Thursday.
After calling on seer Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi Maha Swamy and performing special pujas, they took part in poornahuthi of ayush homam. The MP gave 14 pairs of oxen to the tribal farmers on the occasion.
Later, the seer said about peetham’s association with the Agency tribal farmers. He further stated that cows and oxen were being given to them to eke out their livelihood.
The seer lamented that cow slaughtering is still prevailing in both Telangana and Andhra States which should be controlled. MLA Satish Babu said that every year they visit the peetham to take the blessings of the seer.
