Tendering process to be initiated next week
The tendering process for the prestigious long-pending Dindi lift irrigation project in Nalgonda district would be initiated next week according to Irrigation minister T Harish Rao.
​Hyderabad: The tendering process for the prestigious long-pending Dindi lift irrigation project in Nalgonda district would be initiated next week according to Irrigation minister T Harish Rao.
The Minister on Wednesday held a detailed review meeting to discuss the progress of several irrigation projects taken up after redesigning and reengineering by the TRS government.
He asked officials to complete all the formalities for the tender process to the Dindi project taken up for quenching thirst of people in Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar and also instructed them to create an additional ayacut in Nalgonda district.
Harish Rao also instructed the officials to ensure the completion of works taken up under Kaleshwaram project in 14 months and the pending modernisation of Nagarjuna Sagar project works by July 2016.
He enquired the progress in land acquisition at Devadula, mid Manair, Bhakta Ramadasu, Nettempadu, Kalwakurthy, Bhima and Akkampally reservoirs.
