​Karimnagar: Passion for painting right from childhood made him a well-known artist in the neighbourhood. But when he started experimenting with three dimensional (3D) drawings, his name reached global platforms and now he is more popular than earlier.

This is about Shiva Ramakrishna, a self-taught 3D artist from Manthani in Karimnagar district. In fact, they are illusionary paintings but appear as if they are real ones. These amazing 3D art illusions are attracting one and all. Hailing from an agricultural family, Shiva Ramakrishna has an immense love towards art. Though he is pursuing MTech and has a horde of avenues in IT industry, he wants to be a unique 3D artist.

When he learnt about the 3D illustrations, he started exploring in depth and practiced his own. He painted a swimming pool on a flexi and exhibited on the roof of his house. Later, he painted zebra crossing on the road to look realistic. The 3D painting gives an illusion to oncoming drivers to think that it is an original obstruction and they will stop or reduce their speed.

When he uploaded his works in Youtube, his talent has spread widely. He received a tremendous response from all quarters, especially much-needed advice from the experts of the industry. He started drawing cartoons for textbooks from the third year of engineering. These include three international editions and two local editions.

His 3D paintings are being published in an international magazine, Fenamizah, from Turkey for the last two years. He is also a 'Golden Brush Holder' from 'Touchtalent.com in 2014. Speaking to The Hans India he said that his love for the art has made him popular. Sabha’ episode of Mahabharata.

His parents who felt a little bit upset when all the walls of their houses were filled with his paintings, expressed happiness over the fame he is receiving now. They expect support from the generous people to see their son excels in the art.
