One arrested for selling gilt gold

Nalgonda: Police arrested a person who tried to sell gilt gold to a merchant in Nakrekal mandal in the district on Tuesday.
According to the Nakerekal police, a few days back, one Mangal from Rajasthan, who approached a gold shop owner at Vasavi Nagar, sold out a few grams of gold at a cheaper rate.

Mangal approached the same gold merchant on Tuesday and informed him that he had one kg of gold with him and would like to sell it at a cheaper rate. The trader examined the sample and concluded that it was gilt gold.

He immediately informed the local police who rushed to the spot and arrested the culprit. The Nakrekal police registered a case and took up investigation.
