Survey on Mission Bhagiratha
A survey on economic and social impact of Mission Bhagiratha will be launched soon. At least 200 habitations will be studied by the end of December.
Hyderabad: A survey on economic and social impact of Mission Bhagiratha will be launched soon. At least 200 habitations will be studied by the end of December. The State government’s prestigious project which has generated curiosity among several North Indian States has become a subject of interest for several agencies including EPTRI, ESCI, CESS and NABCOS.
These have come forward to take up the survey in the State. During a meeting on Thursday, Panchayat Raj Special Chief Secretary S P Singh briefed the officials of RWS&S (Rural Water Supply & Sanitation) about the Chief Minister’s desire to take up the survey.
They were asked to attach scientific assessment of the project with each of the questionnaire. Among other issues, the sample size and factors to be taken into consideration were discussed during the meeting.
