Hyderabad: TRS MP B Suman on Wednesday demanded the Centre that it should immediately take action against Andhra Pradesh government for stealing its online content to attract investments under the ease of doing business (EODB).

Addressing a press conference here, Suman said that if the TDP government did not commit any mistake, then AP CM Chandrababu Naidu should face an enquiry. He questioned why the AP government directed its officials not to respond to the inquiry by cyber crime officials.

The MP said that the Centre provides ease of doing business rankings to states every year and based on these rankings investors come forward for setting up of industries. Because of the efforts of Telangana government officials, Telangana has been on top of the rankings for some time.

“The Andhra Pradesh which was at the bottom took advantage of extension of time of submission for the ranks and copied the application of Telangana and sent to the Centre,” alleged Suman.

Suman said that the Centre should respond on this and take action against the Andhra Pradesh government and encourage Telangana government, which has followed the spirit of EODB.

Stating that Mallannasagar was like a heart for the people of Telangana and a life saver for four northern districts, Suman said that there would be no future for the parties that were opposing the project. He said that there was no controversy now after the government said that it would adopt the Land Acquisition Act 2013 or GO 123, whichever was the best for farmers.
