Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner B Janardhan Reddy on Wednesday directed all zonal commissioners (ZC) and deputy commissioners (DC) to continue the special thematic drive till July 15.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner B Janardhan Reddy on Wednesday directed all zonal commissioners (ZC) and deputy commissioners (DC) to continue the special thematic drive till July 15.
He asked officials to showcase their work on all media platforms including the print and electronic media for better ranking in 'Swachh Suverkshan' 2017. He said that each 'print clipping' and TV video clipping would be awarded 1 to 3 points.
The GHMC chief held a teleconference at GHMC headquarters and instructed the ZCs and DCs to conduct zone wise workshops during the fortnight (a total of 5 events). He also asked officials to involve residential welfare associations’ and conduct workshops in their respective premises.
The Commissioner said the municipal corporations might partly fund (up to 20% of funds) the community toilet facilities and solid waste management facilities (placing segregating dustbins in each household, installing composting equipment etc.,) within the RWAs complex.
