Government advisor K V Ramana Chary on Monday released a brochure of Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Bonalu festival of old city at his chambers in Secretariat here. He also sought blessings of Ammavaru for peaceful completion of Bonalu festival in the city from July 22 to August 1.
Hyderabad: Government advisor K V Ramana Chary on Monday released a brochure of Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Bonalu festival of old city at his chambers in Secretariat here. He also sought blessings of Ammavaru for peaceful completion of Bonalu festival in the city from July 22 to August 1.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Goddess will bless the people with prosperity and peaceful atmosphere in the city. The Akkanna Madanna Mahankali temple has been conducting the festivities for 68 years in a grand manner, he said, adding that he has released the brochure for third consecutive time.
Ramana Chary also said that he has been associating with old city since his stint as Vice- Chairman of Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority. Khadi Board former vice-chairman, Niranjan, Temple vice president Raja Rathnam and secretary Dattatraya were present.
