Nearly 120 passengers were stranded at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Tuesday after an Air India flight to Kolkata failed to take off as per the schedule. While the Air India staff stated that there was a technical problem in the aircraft, the passengers were informed that it would take time for the flight to take off.

However, as the delay got prolonged, the passengers protested. The flight finally took off 5 hours behind schedule and the staff clarified that the safety of the passengers is their top most priority and until the problem was fixed, the could not take off.
