He exuded confidence that their party will come to power in the State in 2019 elections.
He attended as the chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of party district president Sankineni Venkateswar Rao at police auditorium in Nalgonda on Thursday.
Addressing the leaders and cadre, Laxman criticised both Congress and TDP for the backwardness of the district. Even though there is Nagarjuna Sagar dam in the district, the farmers were not getting sufficient irrigation water.
He appreciated Prime Minister Narender Modi for giving equal importance to all states irrespective of political parties and striving for the welfare of public and for the progress of the nation.
The BJP leader informed that the Central government has sanctioned Rs 90,000 crore to Telangana State. Of this, Rs 43,000 crore was sanctioned for laying National highways in the State.
‘The Centre is ready to revoke Ramagundam fertilizers and chemical company in Karimnagar for the welfare of farmers with an expenditure of Rs 6,000 crores.
Laxman requested the people of the State to teach a strong lesson to all those leaders, who change parties. He mocked at the government on the High Court reproach with regard to GHMC elections, GO: 123 and Eamcet-2.
Describing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a poor administrator and puppet in the hands of MIM leaders, the BJP leader said that their party is the only party which can challenge the MIM party in the State.
The party will celebrate Telangana Liberation Day on a grand note across the Sate on September 17.
Party’s new district president Sankineni Venkateswar Rao advised the party leaders and cadre to propagate the Central government schemes among the public to strengthen the party in the district.
He assured the senior leaders that they will bag majority of MLA and MP seats in 2019 elections with collective efforts.
Party senior leaders Ramoju Shanmukha, Veerelly Chandrashekar, Goli Amarender Reddy, Oruganti Ramulu, Giri Babu, Kasam Venkateswarlu, Bandaru Prasad, Bojja Shekar, Morishetty Nageshwar Rao and others participated in the programme.
