Warangal: Assistant General Manager of Andhra Bank Krishnamurthy Nagarajan (58) committed suicide by allegedly jumping in front of a train between Kazipet and Warangal railway stations during the early hours of Monday.

According to the police, Nagarajan had gone out for a walk during the early hours of Monday and did not return home. On learning of this, his colleagues searched for his whereabouts and found his body on the railway tracks.

In a suicide note, which he reportedly wrote before taking the extreme step, he wrote that he felt disturbed over holding him responsible for sanctioning “huge loans” while working in Kolkata. He was reportedly facing a court case in connection with the same.

Nagarajan hailed from Madurai in Tamil Nadu and had been working in Telangana circle office at the zonal office in Hanamkonda. His colleagues expressed deep shock at his suicide and described him as a sincere and hard-working official.
