KCR grants aid to Parandham

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday announced Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to P Parandham, who had actively participated in 1969 separate Telangana movement.
Parandham had received bullet injuries on his chest and right leg in the police firing while participating in the Telangana agitation at General Bazar in Secunderabad on April 4, 1969.
He has been ailing since then and also lost his son. He recently met the Chief Minister and explained his problems to him and sought government help. In a quick response, KCR instructed the officials to immediately release the assistance and help Parandham.
