​Mahbubnagar: The district administration is fully engrossed in making all arrangements for the formal inauguration of new districts on Tuesday.

The authorities have already finalised office buildings to set up Collector offices, Collector Camp Offices, Superintendent of Police (SP) offices, and all other buildings housing Agriculture, Forest, Rural Development, Irrigation and Revenue offices in all the three newly-formed districts and renovation and final touches like painting, installing infrastructure, decoration of the offices with colour lightings is in full swing.

For instance, Wanaparthy palace, which will house the Collector’s office and Collector Camp Office, is already ready and the workers are giving final touches like painting the walls and arranging the furniture and other infrastructure.

Local leaders, along with Nagarkurnool MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy and Achempeta MLA Guvvala Balaraju, conducted ‘Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Sudharshana Yagam’ at the building housing the Nagarkurnool Collector
office.

On the other hand, the arrangements for the lately formed Jogulamba-Gadwal district are also going on at a fast pace.

The district administration is arranging all facilities in all the government offices in Gadwal. The officials are busy in finalising the office buildings for Collector office, SP office, District Treasury office, Education Department, Health and Medical Department offices, etc.

The officials have finalised the Collector’s office in the Jurala Priyadarshinini Project Supervising Engineer building while the SP office is to be housed in the ‘Women’s Society’ Building of Gadwal mandal.

The Collector has issued tentative orders promoting 58 senior employees in the Revenue Department as Deputy Tahsildars, 48 employees as Senior Assistants, and 36 persons as Village Revenue Officers (VROs) in the newly formed districts.

About 32 people have been recruited on compensatory grounds (Karunya Niyaamakaalu). In addition to this, the District Collector has also appointed 28 people as office subordinates and filled 28 backlog posts in various departments.

“We have made everything ready for tomorrow’s formal inauguration ceremony of the new districts,” the Collector said.
