Hyderabad: Announcing that the process of reorganisation of districts and formation of new revenue divisions and mandals has been completed, the State government clarified that neither further changes would be made nor the government would take into consideration the demands for such formation, either from people or organisations.

This decision was taken at a meeting of top officials chaired by Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to review the functioning of new districts and to know the obstacles that were encountered by the staff.

Since the final notification has been issued based on the requests and demands made by people, the officials informed the district authorities that the government would not entertain fresh demands for districts and mandals further.

The reorganisation of the districts had been done in a scientific manner and hence there was no need for any further change, the meeting felt.

The officials instructed District Collectors to provide all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the administration.
