Telangana govt asked to state if market value of lands revised

A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice A Shankar Narayana on Tuesday directed the government of Telangana to inform the court whether the market rates had been revised as per Telangana State Market value revision guidelines rules before issuing the notifications for acquiring lands in the state.

The bench was dealing with a public interest writ petition filed by Kodandaa Reddy, former Congress MLA and others.
