​Jinnaram: The Bollaram police on Monday arrested two persons for possessing a country-made weapon (tapancha) without licence, according to Inspector of Police Satish Reddy.

The arrested persons are Deerendra Arora(20) of Jharkhand and Jeethender (19) of Uttar Pradesh. They were staying at Bollaram. They were working in Amavarati Chemicals.

The police said the duo were allegedly addicted to vices. They had secured the tapancha from Ashpoorkataudi village in UP for Rs.7,000. He said the two were nabbed while trying to dispose of the weapon for Rs.30,000, the Inspector said.
