Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued a notification saying that November 14 would be the last day for paying Property Tax and Trade Licence.

Until 9 PM on Monday, the defaulters can avail the opportunity to clear all the pending dues. HMC Commissioner, Janardhana Reddy announced that the tax amount will be collected along with fine starting from November 15.

If the tax payment is not completed by Monday, the defaulters will have to clear it before March 31st along with 24 percent fine. GHMC officials have raked in Rs. 110 crores uptil now, in property taxes in a special drive with regard of High Currency Notes Ban.

It is learnt that some bigwigs located in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Punjagutta, Somajiguda and those having commercial spaceare are yet to pay the property taxes. Bill collectors are alerting the public through phone calls and text messages in the special srive to pay up the pending tax amounts.

on the other hand Bill Collectors are visiting door to door to the defaulters to collect the pending tax amounts for years by alerting them by phone calls and text messages as a part of special drive. It is reportedly said that Jana Mandali also collected pending amounts worth 25 crores.
