Four die in road mishap as car overturns on National Highway in Wanaparthy

In a tragic accident, four people lost their lives when a car overturned on the National Highway in Wanaparthy district.

The accident took place near Amadabakula village of Kothakota mandal when the driver in the car lost control while trying to avoid a speeding bike. Six passengers in the car were returning from Tirupati towards Mahbubnagar when the incident occured. While four of them died on the spot, two others suffered serious injuries and were immediately shifted to Wanaparthy Area hospital.

The locals complained that the National Highways have no warning signs, not even at the turnings making the travel journey more dangerous.
