In the wake of the strike called by the Electricity Unions, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday asked the government employees to settle their demands through discussions instead of strikes.

Addressing the meet with Telangana electricity employees, KCR cautioned them against any movement that would in turn affect the development of the state. The employees, meanwhile thanked the Chief Minister for electricity employees and stated that they would call off their proposed strike from December 9.

KCR further appreciated the work of the employees and also appointed Venkat Reddy as chairman of the advisory council on minimum wages.
