Traffic on important roads as well as arterial roads in the city got choked for about four hours on Tuesday as people belonging to various communities came to meet the Chief Minister in his camp office.

Hyderabad: Traffic on important roads as well as arterial roads in the city got choked for about four hours on Tuesday as people belonging to various communities came to meet the Chief Minister in his camp office.

It was a virtual night mare for travellers, who faced horrendous time during the traffic halt. The roads which were affected were Jubilee Hills Check post to Green Lands, Lakdikapul to Ameerpet, Khairatabad to Jubilee Hills check post via Taj Krishna, and Masab Tank to Nagarjuna Circle.

Even the Green Land fly over was choked with traffic. The traffic woes which began at around 2 pm continued till 7 pm. People going home from work were among the worst affected. According to traffic police hundreds of vehicles occupied the Green Lands road, where the CM’s camp office is located, which resulted in the blockage of traffic.
