The Hyderabad High Court at Hyderabad will remain closed for summer vacation from May 1 to 31. During the vacation, the court has nominated vacation judges to hear urgent matters, if any. Four vacation courts will function as follows. 

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court at Hyderabad will remain closed for summer vacation from May 1 to 31. During the vacation, the court has nominated vacation judges to hear urgent matters, if any. Four vacation courts will function as follows.

According to a notification issued by the High Court Registrar General, a division bench comprising Justice S V Bhatt and Justice Shameem Akther will hear cases on May 4. Justice T Sunil Chowdary will preside over the single bench on the same day.

In the second spell, a division bench presided over by Justice Challa Kodanda Ram and Justice N Balayogi will hear the cases on May 11 and Justice M Satyanarayana Murthy will preside over the single bench on the same day.

In the third spell, the bench presided over by Justice P Naveen Rao and Justice M S K Jaiswal will hear urgent cases on May 18 and Justice A V Sesha Sai will preside over the single bench on the same day. In the last spell, a division bench comprising Justice A Rajashekar Reddy and Justice T Rajani will hear cases on May 25 and Justice A Shankar Narayana will preside over the single bench on the same day.

The vacation judges will hold the court to hear urgent matters like Habeas Corpus Petitions, anticipatory bail, bail applications, if bail is rejected by magistrates and sessions judges/additional sessions judges; any other urgent matter which cannot wait till the end of the vacation like eviction/dispossession, demolition and so on specifically permitted by the senior vacation judge.
