Minister for Tribal Welfare, Culture and Tourism Azmeera Chandulal on Wednesday launched the TTWREIS (Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) inspection app, which is an Android tablet-based application.

Hyderabad: Minister for Tribal Welfare, Culture and Tourism Azmeera Chandulal on Wednesday launched the TTWREIS (Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) inspection app, which is an Android tablet-based application.

The app inspection mainly covers student attendance, staff attendance, medical health, food supplies, infrastructure and maintenance, academic supplies, student performance etc. The app would ensure that allocations to the department are being spent accurately by the TTWREIS.

Speaking after the launch, Chandulal said regular inspection of the hostel and residential schools will be conducted twice monthly. Through education, we can achieve Bangaru Telangana. The Minister further said the scholarships will be directly credited to the bank accounts of the students. When the government launches schemes for the benefit of the students, they should utilise them.

Speaking at the occasion, Praveen Kumar, Secretary of TSWREIS (Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) said, “17 degree colleges proposed to the government that discontinuation by students’ leads to child marriages. We are planning to build social and tribal welfare fine arts colleges.

According to the Government Order the student is given chicken eight times in a month. Ghee is compulsory for the students as it makes them strong. Children need to learn organic farming as there is scope for it in the future.”
