Group-I, II verifications on June 15, 16

​Hyderabad: Telangana State Public Service Commission will take up certificate verification of Group-1 and Group-2 candidates, who passed in the written test, on June 15 and 16. The process is intended to select candidate for interviews.

Releasing on Friday the list of the eligible candidates whose certificate will be verified, the Commission said the main (written) examination for Group – 1 post was held from September 14 to 24 last year. Provisionally admitted candidates should attend for verification of certificates and provisional list of candidates for interviews would be announced after verification of credentials in original, the Commission said.

The verification of certificates is scheduled on June 15 and 16 from 9 am onwards at Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College for Women, beside Board of Intermediate, Nampally, Hyderabad.

The candidates, who are called for verification, are required to produce the certificates mentioned in the memo which is available on the Commission’s website. Failure on the part of the candidates to submit certificates with reference to the particulars furnished in the PDF (application form) or certificates, would lead cancellation at any stage in the process of selection.

In respect of posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (cat-2), Deputy Superintendent of Jails (men), Divisional Fire Officer (men) and Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, the candidates have to undergo a medical examination.

Meanwhile, the certificate verification for the Group – 2 service candidate is scheduled on June 12 and the Telangana State Public Service Commission has announced the list of candidates selected for verification.
On the basis of the written examination held on November 11 and 13 of 2016 to the various posts under Group - 2 services, the candidates in 1: 3 ratio have been provisionally selected for the verification of certificates, the Commission said.

After verification of original certificates, provisional list of eligible candidates for interview (oral test) will be announced separately. Those selected for the verification of certificates are required to produce the original certificates along with one set of photocopy duly attested by a Gazetted Officer relating to age, qualifications community (integrated), latest creamy layer exemption certificate in case of Backward Classes, certificates relating to age relaxation, study (from 4th class to 10th class) and if any, at the time of verification of certificates, failing which, they will not be admitted in subsequent process of selection.

The verification of certificates will be held at Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Chapel Road, Abids from June 12, onwards. Day wise schedule of the verification of certificates will be hosted in commission’s website on June 2.

In respect of posts of prohibition and excise sub-inspector (post code no 5), the candidates have to undergo a medical examination before the competent medical board at Hyderabad and the physically handicapped candidates also should go for medical examination at respective medical boards.
