17-year-old student commits suicide after struggling to understand English

Hailing from Timmanagudem village of Kanagal mandal in Nalgonda district, Anusha secured merit marks at a government high school.
Having secured a seat in polytechnic college in the city, Anusha was reportedly dejected over her studies as she struggled with the concepts being taught in English by the faculty.
She returned to her native village for Dasara vacation to meet her parents. On Tuesday night, Anusha hanged herself to a ceiling fan at her house. Anusha's friends in the college stated that she had been been struggling with her academics and also dealing with depression. A case has been registered and the investigation has begun.
