Harish to meet Gadkari for AIMP funds in Delhi today
Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao will meet Union Minister for Water Resources, Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Tuesday and seek funds for the completion of irrigation projects under AIMB (Accelerated Irrigation Benefit programme).
Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao will meet Union Minister for Water Resources, Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Tuesday and seek funds for the completion of irrigation projects under AIMB (Accelerated Irrigation Benefit programme).
Ahead of his visit to national capital, the Minister reviewed the progress in the projects under AIBP. Centre already released Rs 31 crore under SRSP scheme, Rs 108 crore for Rajiv Bheema and Rs 470 crore to Devadula. He instructed the officials to issue utilisation certificates for all the projects so that centre will release funds immediately for other schemes.
Harish already pleaded with centre for the immediate release of funds to the projects under Prime Minister Krishi Sanchay Yojana (PMKSY) in the recent meeting in Delhi. As many as 11 projects were brought under the PMKSY.
