Hyderabad: Industries Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Monday said that Hyderabad overtook Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai in demand for Office Space and its rates have doubled in the last two years.

Speaking after inaugurating the corporate office of financial firm CBRE in Durgam Knowledge City Park here, KTR claimed that Hyderabad has emerged as the best location to set up offices due to its geographical location. Further, he said improvement in infrastructural facilities and the launch of Metro Rail services have increased investment opportunities in Hyderabad. The eastern part of Hyderabad is the latest attraction for investors and industrialists have expressed interest in setting up their units around Uppal and Adibatla, he said.

The minister said there has been huge increase in demand for office space in Hyderabad compared to other cities.

KTR said that the State Government was considering the proposal of starting mono-rail in IT Corridor.
