Hyderabad: Dr. R. Hemalatha, Sr. Grade Deputy Director, has been appointed as Director of National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
Dr. Hemalatha is recipient of several ICMR awards, including Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences in 2016 and Fellow of Union of Nutrition Sciences (FIUNS) in 2017. Dr. Hemalatha has vast experience in the field of Maternal and Child Health, clinical and population based studies, according to a press release.
