The MoU aims at mutual exchange of faculty members, post graduate and undergraduate students, collaborative research activities and joint academia-industry cooperation, said NITW director Prof N V Ramana Rao, here on Tuesday.

He signed the MoU during his recent visit to Taiwan as a part of high level Indo-Taiwanese delegation of directors and vice-chancellors from renowned Indian universities. The visit was organised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in collaboration with Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre in India during June 19- June 24.

Prof Ramana Rao was the only director from the NITs in the delegation and met many of the top academic administrators during the Taiwan-India Presidents Forum 2018, which was also held during his visit.
