Hyderabad: TRSLP has objected to the corruption allegations on the government by Congress leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy and said that he needs to be shifted to mental hospital in Erragadda for his outburst. Addressing a press conference here at TRSLP MLCs Karne Prabhakar and T Bhanu Prasad lashed the Congress leader for making allegations against the TRS government.
Condemning the allegations of Janardhan Reddy on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Minister T Harish Rao, Prabhakar said “Nagam Janardhan Reddy has achieved a name for himself as ‘Biyyam Reddy, Agam Reddy’ and now he is praising the party which he is in.
We are afraid Janardhan Reddy will be attacked in Gandhi Bhavan in the similar manner in which he was thrashed in Osmania University.” He said that Nagam is a burden on Congress and he would not benefit to the opposition party. The TRS MLC recalled that while in TDP, Janardhan Reddy targeted Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and now he is praising the same leader, which shows his double standards.
He also took exception to the claims of Janardhan Reddy that Congress started Kaleshwaram project. “Who is correct whether Janardhan Reddy-who is saying Congress started the project or TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, who alleged that TRS changed the design of the project,” asked Prabhakar.
The TRS leader said that his party was fighting with the Centre for 12 per cent reservations to minorities. When the TRS was fighting for the cause in Parliament the Congress leaders remained spectators but now taking up the issue, he alleged. He said that Janardhan Reddy was seeking additional security because he is afraid of getting attacked with his irresponsible talk. Bhanu Prasad said that Janardhan Reddy should first know about the projects and then he can talk on them. He said that the united Andhra Pradesh leaders brought the Pranahita Chevella project only to dry up the Telangana State.
He asked as to why Nagam was not bringing out the evidences for his allegations of corruption on irrigation projects. “Nagam talks of sending KCR, Harish, KTR to jail. We don’t know whether these leaders will go to jail or not but it is for sure that Janardhan Reddy will go to mental hospital,” said Bhanu Prasad.
