Bhongir: All India Congress Committee (AICC) member and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy expressed hope here on Friday that he would get party ticket to contest from Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking to the media here, Narayana Reddy said the party high command has been fielding Pradesh Congress Committee treasurers in election after election. Taking into considerations his efforts to build the party, he hoped that the Congress high command would give him the party ticket to contest form Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency.
He also expressed the hope that Congress MLC and former MP Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy would support his candidature. Local congress leaders were present at the media conference.
